Books US schools assign, by Lexile measure
The Lexile Framework places readers and texts on the same scale — a 700L reader is matched to ~700L books. Schools and parents use Lexile to pick books that stretch but don’t frustrate. Each band below lists the assigned-reading canon at that level, with grade range and curriculum coverage per title.
